Walter A. Mazaka, 89 of Medford died Thursday after a brief illness in the Partners In Care Giving, Biddeford, Maine.
Born in Charlestown, he lived in Medford for the past 65 years and was the son of the late Rose (Bielkowski) and Anthony Mazaka. Mr. Mazaka was a Special Agent, with the Alcohol, Tobacco, & Firearms for 35 years and retired in 1972.
Beloved husband of the late Loretta (Todd) Mazaka. Devoted father of Maryanne Gilbert and her husband John of Biddeford, Maine and John Mazaka. Loving grandfather of John McNeeley, Becky, Katie, Andy Gilbert, and Alexandra Mazaka. Brother of Chris Mazaka of Saugus, Edward Mazaka of Chelmsford, and the late Anna Pienkowski, Helen Lahey, Stephen and Al Mazaka.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Tuesday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 9 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 thru 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
