Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday at 10 am. Funeral Mass in St. Ann Church West Bridgewater at 11 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting hours Tuesday 2-5 pm.

Fernand J. Trinque, 78 years of West Bridgewater formerly of Brockton died Thursday evening at the Brockton Hospital after a period of failing health.He was born and raised in Brockton a son of the late Frank X. and Claudia (Joly) Trinque. He had lived in Brockton for 71 years before moving to West Bridgewater in 1997. He had been a graduate of Brockton High School.
Mr. Trinque had worked in local shoe factories and his recent job was at Lakeville State Hospital as a campus police officer until he retired in 1992.
He was a member of the Matfield Woods Association and the Whitman VFW Horseshoe Club.He had been a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart Church and most recently St. Ann Church in West Bridgewater.
He is survived by a sister Jeannine Vallee of West Bridgewater and 4 nieces and 3 nephews. Special friends Albert and Terese Cifelli of West Bridgewater.
He was the brother of the late Lorraine Garafalo, Armand Trinque and Marius Trinque
