Robert A. Osborne, 72 of Oxnard, passed away peacefully at home on May 20, 2015. Bob was born to Kenneth and Virginia Osborne on November 25, 1942 at South Bend, Indiana.
Bob spent part of his life in Indiana where he met Sharon Gresley and they married June 2, 1979. They relocated to Glendale, California with Sharon's two children, Denise and Daniel. His three children from a previous marriage remained in Indiana.
Bob's avid interest in cars led him to have his own Auto Body Repair businesses throughout the years.
Bob and Sharon are both classic car enthusiasts and members of Ventura Vintage Rods. Bob was extremely active in orchestrating the annual Harbor Run Car Show. His passion was when show proceeds were given to the community through local charities.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and son, Robert Allen.
He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 36 years, Sharon; Sons Rodney (Barb) of Ft. Wayne, IN and Dan Gresley of Camarillo; Daughters, Tami Allred (Ron Fox) of Huntington,IN, Denise McMaster (Paul Thomas) of Oxnard and Tina Stein (Vern Shannon) of Ft. Wayne, IN; 9 Grandchildren and 3 great-grandchidren; cherished mother-in-law, Mary Elizabeth Berning of Oxnard; Brothers Ted of San Tan Valley,AZ Naf, Dabe and John Maloley of Ft. Wayne, IN.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Bob's Life to be held Saturday May 30, 2015 at 12 Noon in the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 757 E. Main Street Ventura.
