Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday at 10 am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 11 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 pm.
Obituary
Mr. O’Leary died Friday evening at Massachusetts General Hospital after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Patricia A. (Towle) O’Leary.
Mr. O’Leary was born and raised in Brockton a son of the late Daniel and Gertrude (Phillips) O’Leary. He was a graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1939.
During WW II he served in the US Army.
In 1986 Mr. O’Leary retired as an administrator at Boston Mutual Life Insurance in Canton after 42 years of service.
He enjoyed golf and was a lifelong Red Sox fan. He had been a past member of the DAV and a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Seville Council.
Mr. O’Leary had been a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
He is survived by a daughter and three sons Maryanne Sergio of Lakeville, Michael O’Leary of Brockton, Mark O’Leary of New York and William P. O’Leary of Rehoboth. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews
He was the brother of the late Jack and Helen O’Leary
