Ted F. Norman, 85, of Mattapoisett died Wednesday February 23, 2005 at Tobey Hospital in Wareham after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Jean M. (Miller) Norman.
Born in McKinney, Texas, the son of the late Ted R. and Frances V. (Schonhardt) Norman, he had lived in Attleboro for many years before retiring to Mattaposiett.
He was a member of the Mattapoisett Congregational Church.
Mr. Norman was formerly employed as a sales representative for Cinema, Inc. in Boston until his retirement.
During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army with the Field Artillery in the African campaign.
He was a member of the Star in the East - Paskamansett Lodge, A.F. & A.M.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy C. Johnson of Pawtucket, RI, and Beth F. Hays of West Sunbury, Penn.; and a brother, Ralph Norman of Richardson, Texas.
A Private Family Burial Service will be held in Pine Island Cemetery, Mattapoisett. Visiting hours are omitted.
