Harlem – Mr. Leroy H. Hall, 89, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 12, 2015.
Private graveside services were held on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Westview Cemetery.
Leroy, youngest of twelve children of the late Maggie Huckabee and Acil Kelly Hall, was a retired electrician, who had been a member of IBEW Local 1579 since 1952. He was always proud of his three honorable discharges from the Navy, the Army and the National Guard, and was a veteran of both World War II and the Korean Conflict. He’ll always be remembered as a hard worker in everything he did.
Survivors include his daughter, Lynda Briggs and husband, Benny, his granddaughter, Kelli Humbert and husband, Jasper, and his two great-grandchildren, Logan and Emily Humbert. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Myrtis Agner Hall, his parents and his eleven brothers and sisters.
