FALL RIVER - Irondina "Rudy" (Ledo) Tavares, age 85, wife of Joseph D. Tavares of Fall River, residence Rolling Green Dr. Fall River, died Friday in Fall River at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
Besides her Husband of Fall River, she is survived by 1 Son: J. Robert Tavares of Swansea. 3 Daughters: Eileen Miles of Fall River, Nancy Saravo of Fall River, Carol Levigne of Moosup, CT, 12 Grandchildren and 10 Great-gandchildren, Several Nieces and Nephews. She was the sister of the late Daniel and Edward Ledo.
Born in Fall River. Daughter of the late Joseph Ledo and the late Mary Caroline (Azevedo) Ledo. She was a resident of Fall River for all of her life. Before retiring at age 62, she was employed as a Machine Operator for the former Fashion Center Shop. She was a member of Holy Name Church.
Her Funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 North Main Street on Tuesday at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass in Holy Name Church, Hanover St., Fall River at 9:00 A.M.
