Augustina (Mello) Lima, age 89, of Fall River, passed away on Saturday May 9, 2015 at the Catholic Memorial Home. She was the wife of the late Albert H. Lima and daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Pimental) Mello. She was a sewing machine operator and seamstress in the local needle trades industry, enjoyed sewing, baking, and time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children; Claudia Vieira, Ernest Nunes, Brian Lima, Barry Lima, and Cheryl Ann Curt, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one niece and one nephew. Augustina was also the sister of the late Leonel P., and Joseph Mello.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on FRIDAY here at 8 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial Holy Name Church at 9 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours on THURSDAY from 4-8P.M.
