Joann Taromino, passed away at the Sunbridge Nursing Care Center of North Reading on Thursday, Februaery 24, after a brief illness. The wife of the late Frank Taromino, she was eighty-three years old.
Born in Highland Park, Michigan, she was formerly of the West End of Boston. In 1960 she settled with her husband in Medford where she woked as a hairdresser. Joann was devoted to her family and enjoyed her grandchildren.
Joann is survived by her son Frank J. and his wife Debra of Tewksbury, two grandchildren Francesca and Nikilina. Also many loving nieces and nephews.
Along with her husband she is predeceased by her two brothers, Dominic and Salvatore Spinale and a sister Carmela Romano.
Her funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford on Monday, February 28, at 8 a.m., followed by a funeral mass celbrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St. Medford at 10. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
