Phyllis (Milano) Mogavero, a longtime Medford resident died Tuesday at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was 75. Born and raised in East Boston, she was the daughter of the late Peter and the late Phyllis (Macchione) Milano. A resident of Medford for over 54 years, before her retirement Phyllis worked for more than 50 years with Spir-it Company of Wakefield.
She was the beloved wife of the late Sebastian “Buster” Mogavero. She was a devoted mother to Linda Lucarotti, Paula Cacciola and her husband Peter all of Medford. She was a loving grandmother to Paul, Michael and Mark. She was the dear sister of the late Anthony, Peter and Patrick Milano.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Saturday at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, at 11 AM with the Rev. Robert Doherty, presiding. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family Friday 4 – 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery.
