CHERRY VALLEY-John S. Morris, 94, of 15 Folsom Street, died February 23rd in the Hospice Residence at Coes Pond. He leaves his wife, Marion A. (Dustin) Morris and they would have celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary on March 22nd, a son, John J. Morris and his wife Mary-Ellen of Webster, a daughter, Dorothy J. wife of William R. Daoust of Cherry Valley, 3 grandsons, Brian Daoust of Auburn, Kevin Daoust of Cherry Valley and Thomas Morris of Webster, 4 great grandchildren, Jared, Collyn, Nolan and Brielle Daoust, many nephews and nieces. 4 brothers and 3 sisters predeceased him.
He was born in Worcester the son of Joseph and Sophie (Law) Morris. Mr. Morris worked for 40 years for the M. J. Whittal Company, and at one time worked for various carpet companies including Oxford Mills in Ware.
The funeral is Saturday, February 26th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are from 9:30 until 10:30 the morning of the funeral in the funeral home.
