Robert J. Kaszowski, Sr.,88, passed away Friday, May 8, 2015 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.
He leaves behind his wife of 62 years, Loretta M. (Missiewicz) Kaszowski, they had celebrated their anniversary on April 18.
Mr. Kaszowski also leaves 4 sons; Kenneth P. Kaszowski, Brian F. Kaszowski and his fiancé Maggie Hart , Jeffrey J. Kaszowski and his wife Lori, and Gary M. Kaszowski and his fiancé Shanda Rascoe, also a daughter, Donna M. Remillard and her fiancé Julius ‘Buddy’ Konkol all of Charlton, 6 grandchildren; Joseph and Darren Remillard, Ashley and Amber Kaszowski and Bryce and Macey Kaszowski, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Robert J. Kaszowski, Jr. who died June 7, 2014.
Robert was born in Dudley and was the last of 9 children of the late Frank and Katherine (Dubiel) Kaszowski and moved to Charlton in 1956.
He was a life-long dairy farmer starting with his father in Dudley and continued in Charlton with his 5 sons and daughter.
He enjoyed visiting with friends and spending time with his 6 grandchildren.
Mr. Kaszowski also looked forward to spending time at his home in Cape Coral, FLA.
At one time he also liked collecting antique tractors.
Mr. Kaszowski’s Funeral Service will be Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 10 AM in The ROBERT J. MILLER-CHARLTON FUNERAL HOME, 175 Old Worcester Rd., followed by burial in West Ridge Cemetery.
Calling Hours will be Monday, May 11, 2015 from 5PM to 7PM in the Funeral Home.
