Lorna B. D. Kiley, 90, of Derry, NH, died Thursday, February 17, 2005 in Caritas Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, MA. Mrs. Kiley was born in Alna, ME on July 24, 1914, a daughter of the late Elbridge C. and Christine (Brown) Drew . She was a lifelong resident of Derry. Mrs. Kiley was a self employed home health nurse. After she retired from nursing, she worked for the Meals on Wheels Program in Derry for 15 years and assisted with the lunch program at the Senior Center in Derry. For a number of years she also operated a booth at the General Reid Flea Market and was an avid collector of elephant figurines and decorative eggs.
She is survived by one daughter, Christine Dube of Methuen, five grandchildren, Charles W. Longshore, Christopher Dube, both of Derry, Kathi Dube of Methuen, Wayne Dube of Hampton, NH, Larry Dube of Laconia, NH, currently serving in Iraq, 11 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, two sisters, Nadine Jackson of Virginia, Ann Drew of Pennsylvania, one brother, Frank Barkus of Delaware, many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 22nd at 10:00am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH. Burial will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry, NH. Friends may call on Monday from 6 - 8pm at the funeral home.
