Georgia Pauline Hansford, 82, of Prosser, entered into rest on May 7, 2015 at her home.
She was born on March 14, 1933 in Neosho, Missouri to Clarence and Hazel Mae (Bennett) Yahne. She was raised and educated in Prosser and Sunnyside. Georgia married Bobby Garland Hansford on March 14, 1951 in Grandview and the couple raised three sons. She was a homemaker and helped her husband on their farm, raising hay and cattle. Georgia especially loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sons, Randall Hansford of Redding, CA, Ronald Hansford and his wife, Nancy of Prosser and Ricky Hansford and his wife, Elizabeth of Goldendale; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; her sister, Lucille Johnson of Imperial Beach, CA; brothers, Bill Yahne and his wife, Barbara of Grandview and Joe Yahne and his wife, Patty of Prosser; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-three years, Bobby Garland Hansford on October 27, 2014; brother, Preston Yahne and sisters, Elsie Croghan, Darlene Clark, Margie Cluff and Juanita Kohn.
