Carmella (Langone) Vitiello of Medford died on Monday, May 4, in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Born and raised in East Boston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Caroline (Ammie) Langone.
Carmella was the beloved wife of the late Silvio Vitiello and the devoted mother of Frances Vitiello of Medford, Bill Vitiello of Salem, NH, and Caroline Albano and her husband Salvatore of Derry, NH. She was the loving grandmother of Derek, Tara, Alexandria, Samantha, Danielle and Christopher, and sister of the late Florence DiMattia, Patrick, Lucy, Anthony, Frank, and Michael Langone.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, May 9 at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 9 through 10 AM prior to the service. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. As an expression of sympathy, contributions may be sent in Carmella's name to a charity of One's choice.
