Mrs. Merrill died Sunday morning at West Acres Nursing Home, Brockton aftera period of failing health. Born in Braintree, she was the daughter of thelate Thomas and Mary Ellen (White) Frazier. She was raised in Quincy andresided there until moving to Brockton three years ago. She and her latehusband Herbert U. Merrill were the proprietors of Merrill Cleaners ofWollaston and North Quincy for over 40 years. She enjoyed gardening,crocheting, knitting, music and was an avid reader and card player.
She is survived by her son Herbert W. Merrill of Abington and daughter MaryEllen "Helen" Drew of Brockton, 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and2 great great grandchildrenShe was the mother of the late Thomas Merrill
