Wininger, Robert F., 96, of Louisville passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Norton Audubon Hospital.
Robert was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri he was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and a member of American Legion Post #220. He had retired in quality control at P. Lorillards Tobacco Company.
He was preceded in death by his son, Dan Adams.
Survivors include his wife, Charleen (Crawford) Wininger; four children, Delores Kunzler (Mike), Bobby Wininger (Sue), Gary Wininger (Darlene) and James Adams; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 2:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. A cemetery chapel service will be held 1:00 PM Friday at Resthaven Memorial Park with entombment to follow.
Memorial gifts may be made to the WWII Memorial Fund.
