Artur Vieira Andrade (84) of Brockton and Cape Verde died May 4th in his home after a period of failing health. He was the loving husband of Maria (Gomes).
He was born in Sao Filipe, Fogo, Cape Verde son of the late Artur and Eugenia (Silva) de Andrade and was a grocery store owner in his native country. Artur loved to play cards and was interested in motorcycles.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, his sons - Lourenco Domingos Vieina, Benjame, Fausto, Ilanio, Fufu, Peri, Orlando, Antunzinho, Perivaldio, Emanuel, Toy and Titino, his daughters Eugeniee, Luisa, Eunice, Esmenalda, Fatima, Bety, Groute, Maria Du Anu, Luisa Ineida, Rosy, Ruth and Filomena, 2 brothers Lounenus and Valduenuno (Balulu) Andrade. 72 grand and 18 great grandchildren.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Thursday May 7th from 5-9 pm. Burial will take place Monday May 11th in the Cemeteria Achada Forca in Sao Filipe, Fogo, CV.
