Marion (Simon) Teel, age 93, passed away on May 2, 2015 at Holyoke Medical Center. She was born on Feb. 1, 1922 in Springfield, MA. She was a daughter of the late John and Anna (Bozek) Simon. Marion was a communicate of St Paul’s Episcopal Church in Holyoke. She is predeceased by her husband Clarence Samuel Teel. Marion leaves her 2 daughters, Judith Desrosiers and her husband Merrill of Holyoke and Marianne Gallerani and her husband Richard of East Longmeadow; 1 brother, John Simon of Woburn, MA; 5 grandchildren, Richard Gallerani Jr., Ronald Gallerani, Linda M. Solimine and her husband Glenn; Sharon Molleur and her husband Tom, Merrill Desrosiers Jr and his wife Cathy and her 7 great grandchildren, Nicole, Corrie, Philip, Carolyn, Peter, Joseph and Mary Cate. She is predeceased by her sister Elizabeth Leocopoulos. She also leaves many friends from Hubert Place in South Hadley. Calling hours will be held at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 from 4-7 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass in St Paul’s Episcopal Church in Holyoke at 10:00 a.m. followed by burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
