TEWKSBURY - Mrs. Josephine (Accardo) Faraci, age 95, died peacefully Saturday morning, May 2, at her Bayberry at Emerald Court residence. She had been in residence at Bayberry for the past two years, but had lived in Port Richey, Florida, for the greater part of her life. Josephine was the beloved wife of the late Frank B. Faraci, who died 2003.
She was born in Brooklyn, NY, on December 18, 1919, one of two daughters of the late Salvatore and Frances (Caruso) Accardo, and was raised on Long Island, NY.
She leaves a daughter, Loretta Vella and her husband Louis Vella of Andover; two sons, Ronald and his wife Jane (Rogers) Faraci of Lake Grove, NY, and John Faraci of Seaford, NY; four grandchildren, Michael and his wife Laura Faraci of NY, Darren and his wife Katrina Faraci of NY, Adam Vella of Chelmsford, and Loren and her husband Anthony Carlino of Pepperell; eight great grandchildren, Evan, Sean, Keira, Matthew, Andrew, Taylor, Sophia, and Isabella; and was predeceased by her sister Mary Smith.
Relatives and friends will be received Thursday, May 7, from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 p.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 975 Main Sts. (Rte. 38) TEWKSBURY CENTER, Ph. (800 in MA or 978) 851 2950. A Funeral Mass will follow at 1:30 p.m. in St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St. (Rte. 38) Tewksbury.
