TEWKSBURY - Miranda Kim "Mandi" Olsen, age 34, died unexpected on Saturday morning, May 2, at her Tewksbury home, from an apparent heart attack.
She was born in Lowell, on September 20, 1980, one of two daughters of Carl and Susan (Laderoute) Olsen, of Tewksbury, with whom she resided, and had lived in Tewksbury since the age of ten. She was educated in the Tewksbury school system, and graduated from Shawsheen Valley Technical High School with the Class of 1998.
She was currently working at Wendy’s restaurant in North Tewksbury.
Miranda was proud of her Native American heritage, with ancestors in both the Micmac and Chippewa tribes, and was a member of the St. William’s Parish community.
Besides her mother and father, she leaves her sons, Sean Paul MacKenzie Jr., and Jordan Olsen MacKenzie of Tewksbury, a step-daughter, Faith R.MacKenzie of Lowell; her fiancé, Robert Menear of Tewksbury; a sister and brother-in-law, Kimberly A. and Jeff Landry of Tewksbury; maternal grandfather, Paul Laderoute of Tewksbury; a niece Aleah Landry of Tewksbury; a nephew, Jeffrey Landry of Nashua, NH; maternal aunts and uncles, Linda (Laderoute) and Stephen Hattori of Tewksbury, Michael and Barbara (Timmons) Laderoute of VA, Mark and Maria (Azulay) Laderoute of Gardner, David Laderoute of Tewksbury, Andrew and Kathy (Pasquariella) Laderoute of Lowell; paternal aunts and uncles, Carol Houghton of Westford, Donna Sheehan of Milford N.H , Rosemary Olsen of Chelmsford, Sherwood Avery of Manchester, NH, Chazette and John Catania of Seabrook, NH, Al and Judith Cassidy of Bedford, NH, Georgia and Carlton Lamper of Bow, NH, Linda Brown of Seabrook, NH, Margaret and Russell Riley of FL; and many cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by her aunts and uncles, Paul Laderoute Jr., Arthur Olsen, Norman Olsen, Edgar Olsen, Shirley Avery, and Charlotte Crocker
Visiting hours Tuesday, May 5, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 975 Main Sts. (Rte. 38) Tewksbury center, Ph. (800 in MA or 978) 851 2950. Her funeral will begin Wednesday, May 6, at 9:00 from the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St. (Rte. 38) Tewksbury. Committal will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, E. Chelmsford.
