CHICOPEE – Tanya (Fredrickson) Quist Marlow, 72, of the Willimansett section of Chicopee was Called Safely Home on Thursday, April 30, 2015. She passed into Eternal Life at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Norman, Oklahoma on November 30, 1942, a beloved daughter of the late Guy and Betty (Toube) Fredrickson. She lived in California for many years before moving to Chicopee around 1970. She retired as a Procedures Clerk from the Hampden County Superior Court. She was a member of the Chicopee Democratic Committee, the Chicopee Council on Aging and a member of the Majestic Theatre in West Springfield. During her leisure time, Tanya enjoyed reading and gardening, but most of all spending time with her family. She leaves her four devoted daughters, Tobi A. Heroux and her husband, Ron, and Lorell L. Perreault and her husband, Robert, all of Chicopee, Michelle Marlow Borawski and her husband, Tom, of Northampton, and Teri L. Wright and her husband, Chris, of Chicopee; her five cherished grandchildren whom she adored, Bethany and Ryanne Heroux, Adam and Aimée Perreault and Quinn Wright; her dear sisters and brothers, LeeAnn Rich, Richard Fredrickson and his wife, Connie, Bob Fredrickson, April Miller and her husband, David and Tracy Fredrickson and her husband, Garry; and her many dear nephews, nieces, cousins and extended members of the Fredrickson, Quist and Marlow families. Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her mother-in-law, Irene Marlow; her step-father, George McPherson and her brother-in-law, Weldon Rich. Her family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 6:30 p.m. at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. The parking lot and main entrance are located in the rear of the funeral home at 20 Lafayette Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her burial will be private at the convenience of her family.
