Raymond L. “Bill” Fluhr, Sr., 82, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015.
Bill was a catholic by faith and had retired as a Supervisor at A&P Bakery.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Raymond L. Jr., Russell “Rusty” and Sheila Ann Fluhr; granddaughter, Amanda; seven brothers and three sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary J. (Mitchell) Fluhr; children, Rose Greer Shoudy (Harry), Teresa Baker (Roger) and Edna Abell (David); 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren, and three sisters.
He leaves us with many fond memories and stories from Fenley’s Farm, F & M Feed Store, Blue Boar Cafeteria, the U.S Army Corp. of Engineers, the Kentucky State Fair, and numerous Flea Markets & Auctions.
He will be remembered for his hard work, his kindness and most of all his mischievous humor.
His funeral mass will be Monday at 11:00 A.M. at St. Peter the Apostle Church, 5431 Johnsontown Road with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday Noon until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
