Thomas J. Kelly, Sr., 72, of Medway, died unexpectedly at his home on Friday, May 1, 2015.
Born in Brighton on July 13, 1942, he was the son of the late Frank Kelly and Irene (Hesenius) Morris.
Mr. Kelly was a resident of Medway for the past three years and formerly resided in Hudson.
A mechanic by trade, Mr. Kelly was the owner of the former Powder Mill Sunoco in Maynard for 15 years. Before retiring, he worked at Compaq Computer in Hudson for several years.
Mr. Kelly was a life member of the Maynard Elks Club and was a car enthusiast.
He is survived by two sons, Thomas Kelly, Jr. and his companion Amy Oakland of Mendon and Timothy Kelly and his wife Theresa of Medway, four grandchildren Megan, Sarah, Zachary and Matthew, and a brother Paul Kelly and his wife Kathy of Watertown.
He was the brother of the late Ruthann Phipps.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service on Wednesday, May 6 at Noon in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com).
Burial will take placed privately in St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway at a later date.
