Myrtle E.(Nix) Hayes, 88, passed away Wednesday April 29, 2015 at Norton Women’s & Kosair Children’s Hospital.
She was born in Louisville, KY to Ira & Martha Nix.
Myrtle was a Homemaker and a Baptist by faith.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, her loving Husband of 30 years, James John Hayes; and 2 Daughters: Patty Hayes and Jo Ann Landberg.
Survivors include her children: James “Jimmy” Hayes (Linda), Gary Hayes (Donna), Michael Hayes (Kim), Brenda Harper (Bob), Joe Hayes (Connie) and Bill Hayes;
21 Grandchildren , Several Great Grandchildren and Several Great Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 AM – 12:00 Noon.
