Myrtle M. Rose, 93,of Sycamore, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Golden Living Center in Tifton, Georgia after an extended illness.
Born in Berrien County on November 7, 1921 to the late Thomas V. and Martha Jane Arnold McGuire, Sr., Mrs. Rose retired from Gold Kist and was also a homemaker. She was an active member of the Women's Auxiliary of the American Legion, and active volunteer for the American Red Cross. She was a former Elder of the Eatonton Presbyterian Church.
Myrtle is survived by her son, Thomas M. (Annette) McDaniel of Eatonton, Georgia; her daughter, Barbara (W. C.) Kendrick of Sycamore, Georgia; her grandchildren, Randy (Stephanie) Kendrick, Cathy (Mike) Walters, Becky (Brett) Williams, Tom McDaniel, Russell (Tonya) McDaniel, Kristi (Jason) Blount; and fourteen great-granchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
Memorial services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Ashburn First United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends beginning at 1 PM until the hour of the service.
