Emma Louise (Day) Walters, 86, passed away Wednesday April 29, 2015 at St’s Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
She was born in Hart County, KY. to Leonard Lyle and Leetha (Thompson) Day.
Emma was retired from Ford Motor Company after many years of service.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, her loving Husband of 68 years, Johnny Willis Walters who passed April 2nd, 2015;
her Siblings: Earl William Day, Leonard Wendell Day, Beatrice Jewell Pierce and Daymon Clifford Day.
Survivors include her Brother: James Colon “Jimmy” Day and several Nieces, Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at Rockford View United Baptist Church, 2511 Wilkerson Ave., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be Friday 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., and after 10:00 AM Saturday at Church.
