Sandra A. “Sandy” (Coots) Thibault age 72, of Pawtucket, RI died Saturday April 25, 2015 at the Rhode Island Home and Hospice in Providence after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Charles Thibault. Sandy was born and raised in Brockton a daughter of the late Kenneth and Dorothy (Blanchard) Coots and attended Brockton schools. She had resided in Pawtucket with her daughter for the past year and previous lived in Attleboro and Taunton for many years.
At the time of her illness, Sandy was employed at F.C. Phillips Company in Stoughton for 37 years. She was an avid Elvis Presley fan and collected anything Elvis .She had even made two trips to Graceland. Sandy also loved taking vacations, camping and dancing.
Sandy will be remembered as a “firecracker”, a real feisty lady. She loved being with her family and was proud of the accomplishments of her daughter and grandchildren. She will be sorely missed by her nieces, nephews and friends.
Sandy was the devoted mother of Laurie Irving-Meyer and her spouse Deborah Meyer of Pawtucket. She was the loving grandmother of Paul Fredericks, Jr. of Pawtucket and Michael Mullins of Attleboro and great grandmother of Jack and Arianna Fredericks. Sandy was the sister of Barbara Sampson of Maryland, Robert Coots and his wife Nancy of Brockton and the late Ralph Coots and Constance Dearth. She leaves many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton on Wednesday 4-7 pm with a Funeral Service at 7 pm. Donations may be made in Sandy’s name to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
