Sue Chrisfield Gibbs, 89
Sue Chrisfield Gibbs of Marstons Mills passed away on Wednesday April 22 at the age of 89. Born in
Wakefield, the daughter of Edward R. and Lucy (Braxton) Christfield. She is survived by her brother
Edward R. Jr. of Cambridge, and her sister Barbara Gourdin of Marstoms Mills.
The third of six children, Sue was predeceased by her three brothers, Curtis, George, and Harold.
The loving aunt of Kim Douglas of Falmouth, Paul Douglas of Lancaster, Robert Douglas of Centerville,
and the late Dale Douglas (Julie) of Stoneham, Timothie Briggs of Ipswich, Mihaly Briggs of London
England, Carla Weiss of Cambridge and Dana Chrisfield of New York.
A Graduate of Wakefield High School, class of 1944. Sue worked for many years with the Family Services
Association of Boston, then retiring as office manager for Elder Services.
