Katherine Mae Steadman Fletcher, 69, of Lenox passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2015, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with Rev. Kenneth Potts, Jr. officiating. Mrs. Fletcher will be laid to rest at Salem Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 29, 2015, from 12:00 noon until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Fletcher was born March 13, 1946 in Pierson, Florida, the daughter of Willie Steadman and Martha Bailey Steadman, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by one son, Dave Aaron Fletcher; and several brothers and sisters. She was a homemaker and member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Berrien County.
Mrs. Fletcher is survived by her husband, Edward Ernest Aaron Fletcher of Lenox; one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Edward and Rachael Fletcher of Lenox; one brother, Willie Steadman of Deland, Florida; two sisters, Josephine Bacon of Brunswick and Mildred Showers of Chattanooga, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Kayla Fletcher, Alissa Fletcher, Edward Fletcher and William Fletcher; and three great-grandchildren, Taylor, Trenton and Ryder.
