Frances M. Petrak, age 36 of Acushnet passed away suddenly April 20, 2015. She was born June 25, 1978 at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford to the parents she leaves behind, her father Thomas Petrak of Woonsocket, RI and her mother Mary F. (Oliveira) Cook of Easthampton, MA. She has four loving sisters, Anne Petrak, mother of 2, Therese Barnaby, mother of 3, her youngest sisters Patricia Cook and Nicole Munstis she has left behind. She will be greatly missed by her five amazing children who loved her unconditionally Emily, 18, Shawna,15, Lily, 10, Michael, 9, and Anngala, 7. She loved them with all of her heart.
Frances was a graduate of North Brookfield High School. She later furthered her education at Bristol Community College in hopes to become a phlebotomist.
Frances had an indomitable will and always stuck by her decisions no matter what. She made a lasting impression on anyone who met her. Her smile lit up the room and she had a personality that captivated everyone around her. Her laughter was contagious and with her wild spirit, she brought happiness to so many. Frances will be greatly missed as she rests peacefully in the arms of the Lord.
Her visiting hours will be held on Monday April 27, 2015 from 3-7 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
