Obituary

Emanuel C. Reale, 62 of Northwood, NH died Friday, April 24, 2015 at the Concord Hospice House in Concord following a courageous battle with cancer. He was the husband of Debra A. (Lyons) Reale with whom he shared 23 years of marriage,

Born in Salem he was the son of June (Brillant) Reale-Parrottino of Naples, FL and the late Salvatore “Sam” Reale and was the step-son of Simone Parrottino also of Naples. Manny was a graduate of Salem High and joined the Air Force shortly after graduation. A veteran of the Vietnam war he served in the Philippines and Japan as well as stateside. Following his tour of duty, he returned to Salem and worked as a truck driver for the Cressy-Dockham Co. later to become Super Valu, a company servicing grocery chains. He and his wife Deb moved from Salem to Northwood in 2002.

Devoted to his family, Manny’s biggest thrill was playing with his granddaughters Gabriella and Joslin. He was an avid fish and game hunter. He was a member of the Minuteman Gun Club of Burlington, MA.

In addition to his wife Deb and mother and step-father, he is survived by his two daughters, Pauline and Shane Sabino and Danielle and Joshua Pezzino all of Lynn, a brother, Robert Reale and his wife Lisa of Yarmouth, two granddaughters, Gabriella Pezzino and Joslin Sabino. He also leaves several nieces, nephews, cousins. He was predeceased by his brothers, Paul and Salvatore “Sam” Reale.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Route 114 / 1-A] Salem, MA on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 8:00 A.M. to be followed by his funeral mass in Ste. Anne Church, 290 Jefferson Ave., Salem at 9:00 A.M. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be on Monday 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Military Honors and burial will be on Wednesday, April 29th at 11:00 A.M. in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
