Carol J. Ogert, 77, of Rockland Road, North Scituate, died Friday in the Woodpecker Hill Health Center, Greene. She was the wife of Howard H. Ogert. They had been married for 56 years.
Born in North Adams, MA, a daughter of the late Hebert and Laura (Estes) Hemenway. Carol had lived in North Scituate since 1960. She had been a loan officer with Fleet National Bank for 25 years before retiring.
Carol had been a member of the Greenville Baptist Church and also a member of the Red Hatters Society.
Besides her husband she leaves her children, Debra Arnold and her husband Russell of Searsport, ME, Holly Weidele of North Scituate and Jeffrey Ogert of North Scituate, her grandchildren, Laura Weeks and her husband Brian of Franklin, MA, Lindsay Andersonand her husband Brian of Warwick, Valerie Hanson of Medford, MA, William Ogert of North Scituate, Renee Weidele of North Scituate, Heidi Weidele of North Scituate, great-grandchildren, Jocelyn Anderson of Warwick and Leonard Weeks of Franklin, MA, siblings, Hebert Hemenway of Beverly, MA, Bonnie Faerber of Camphill, PA, Nancy Martin of North Hampton, MA and Sally Batura of Florence, MA. She was the sister of the late Laura Gagnon, Virginia Jennings and Teresa Yahemiack.
Her funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11am in the Greenville Baptist Church, 582 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Visitation Wednesday from 4-7pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery, Williamstown, MA.
