Joni Johnson Langston, 58, of Enigma passed away Friday, April 24, 2015, at her residence. A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Langston at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at Mount Zion Ministries in Enigma with Rev. Marvin Williams officiating. She will be laid to rest at a later date.
Mrs. Langston was born May 28, 1956 in Tift County, the daughter of Ike M. Johnson, Jr. of Tifton, who now resides in Sparks, and the late Ilone Junkins Johnson. She was a homemaker and member of Second Baptist Church in Tifton and attended Mount Zion Ministries in Enigma.
In addition to her father, Mrs. Langston is survived by her husband, Shelby Langston of Enigma; one son and daughter-in-law, Lance and Christina Caulder of Tifton; one daughter and son-in-law, Casey and Cody Connell of Lenox; two step-sons, Christopher and Joshua Langston, both of Perry; one brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Jill Johnson of Albany; two sisters, Linda and Herman Henry of Brookfield and Janice and Rob Patrick of Tifton; and six grandchildren, Ian Caulder, Chance Caulder, Zoey Aycock, Layken Connell, Braydon Connell and Savannah Flippo.
