Johnette Harris Wheeler, 86, of Moultrie passed away Friday, April 24, 2015, at Agape Healthcare and Rehab in Moultrie. A graveside funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2015, at Snow Ridge Cemetery in Ashburn, where she will be laid to rest. A eulogy will be given by Cathy Johnson. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 26, 2015, from 3:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at Snow Ridge Cemetery in Ashburn.
Mrs. Wheeler was born November 27, 1928 in Cook County, the daughter of John Jackson Harris and Reba Nadine Tyson Harris, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Felton Wheeler; one brother; and one sister.
Mrs. Wheeler is survived by two sons, Gene Wheeler of Brunswick and Gerald Wheeler of Sycamore; one daughter, Cathryn Thomas of Moultrie; six grandchildren, Clark Wheeler, Greg Wheeler, Chris Thomas, Will Wheeler, Cindy Goff and Lester Goff; and numerous great-grandchildren.
