Heith R. Fitzgerald, 35, of Auburn, NH finally succumbed to his heroin addiction after a long struggle on Thursday, April 23, 2015. He was born on November 30, 1979 in Lawrence, MA.
He is survived by his parents, James and Carlene Fitzgerald of Auburn, six siblings, Thomas Dube of Tennessee, Amy Sibert of Unity, NH, Michael Fitzgerald and Robert Fitzgerald, both of Manchester, NH, James Fitzgerald III of Derry, NH, and Kaitlin Fitzgerald of Auburn, one daughter, Sariah Fitzgerald, grandfather, William Woods of N. Reading, MA, grandmother, Esther Fitzgerald of Salem, NH, one uncle, Bill Woods of N. Andover, MA, one aunt, Wanda Wells of N. Andover, MA as well as many nieces and nephews. Heith’s biological parents were, Louis Mendez and Debra Woods.
Following cremation, memorial calling hours will be held on Monday, April 27, 2015 from 4 to 7:30pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A memorial service will begin at 7:30pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any charity that supports drug rehabilitation.
