Jack D. Hollis

Jack D. Hollis, 78, of Anderson, passed away on April 23, 2015 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital.
He was born on December 4, 1936 in Indianapolis, the son of Carl and Twighla Hollis. He was a 1954 Graduate of Anderson High School and was employed as a tool & die maker at Delco Remy for 44 years, retiring in 1998. He attended and was an active member of Madison Park Church of God, coached and umpired little league baseball for 43 years, volunteered with Operation Love, CBH, and St. John's Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara (Mink) Hollis, whom he married on February 15, 1991, Children: Jacki (Kevin) Hudson of Anderson, Mason (Kim) Hollis of Indianapolis, Jana (Ron) Erli of Middletown, Greg (Julie) Dossett of Maryland, Gary D. Dossett of Kansas. Grandchildren; Jacob and Ben Hudson, Alyson and Abigail Hollis, Spencer (Laura) Erli, Andrea (Aaron) Johnson, Elizabeth, Amy, Angela, Holly, and April Dossett, 3 great grandchildren; TyJe', Alayna, and Alivia. Also 2 sisters, Barbara (Ron) Clute of Anderson and Nancy Hollis of Indianapolis.
Preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Sandra Burton and Patricia Pelsor.
Services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Madison Park Church of God, officiated by Pastor Jim Lyon. Visitation will be on Monday from 4-8 PM at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service and also one hour prior to the funeral at the church.
Memorial contributions may be given to Madison Park Church of God or Operation Love,
