Rosetta Richardson (McGuire), 79, passed away peacefully at Hospice of the Sacred Heart on April 22, 2015.
Born in Olyphant, daughter of the late James Richardson and Jane Ann (Martin) Richardson, she found her calling in hospice care as a CNA. Throughout her career, she helped to comfort many people in their hour of need.
She was also preceded in death by the love of her life and best friend, Paul J. McGuire Sr., in 2013; her son, James, in 1987; and her granddaughter, Erica, in 2009.
Surviving are two sons, Paul "Mugsy" McGuire Jr. and fiancée, Lisa Palucci, Throop; and Raymond McGuire, Florida; three daughters, Beth Ann Hutz and husband, Brian, Bear Creek Twp.; Jennie Hiller and husband, Neil, Olyphant; Rosetta McGuire and fiancé, Bobby Miller, Dickson City; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Hospice of the Sacred Heart for their excellent care, compassion, understanding and comfort given to their mom as well as the family.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m., followed by services provided by family on Saturday in the Michael P. Glinsky Funeral Home Inc., 129 Grant St., Olyphant, Pa. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
