Obituary

Maurice R. “Moe” Vautier of Stoneham passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2005 at Melrose Wakefield Hospital in Melrose. He was 85 years of age.

Born in Manchester, New Hampshire, Moe was the beloved son of the late William T. Vautier and Laura (Bernard) Vautier. Moe was a cherished and loving son, brother, brother in law, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all.

Moe was a dedicated employee for AVCO Tecktran Company in Wilmington for many years. During his retirement, Moe enjoyed making wooden toys. He was a devoted member of the Stoneham American Legion. During World War II, Moe proudly served our country in the United States Navy.

Moe was the beloved husband of Ellen F. (Hallahan) Vautier for the past 42 years. He was the dear brother of David Vautier and his wife Peggy of Londonderry, New Hampshire, Kathy Peckham and her husband John of Portsmouth, Rhode Island, Verna Jansen and her husband George of South Barre, and the late Duke Vautier, Ellen Hoover and Aileen Vautier. He was the brother in law of Charlotte Vautier Moore of Pelham, New Hampshire. Moe was also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Thursday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Moe’s life in St. Patrick’s Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Wednesday 3-7pm. Interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Stoneham.
