Maria Fatima (Barboza) Oliveira. Age 47. Wife of Jose Oliveira. Residence 520 June St., Fall River, Ma. Died Saturday at home. Born in Nordeste, Sao Miguel, Azores. Daughter of Arminda (Rapoza) Barboza and the late Joao Barboza. She was a Fall River resident since 1987. Before retiring, she was a Nurse’s Aide lastly at the Highlander Nursing Center for 5 years. She was a member of St. Michael Church.
Besides her husband of Fall River, and her mother of Portugal, She is survived by Two Sons: Caesar J. Oliveira of Fall River, MA and John V. Oliveira of Fall River, MA. Three Brothers: Jose Antone Barboza of Sao Miguel, Azores, Silvester Barboza of Sao Miguel, Azores and Carlos Barboza of Sao Miguel, Azores. Four Sisters: Anna Maria Lemes of Terceira, Suzanna Cabral of Bermuda, Zelia Teves of Sao Miguel, Azores and Anna Couture of Fall River, MA. Three Grandchildren and Several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. Thursday at 9:00 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church at 10:00 A.M. Internment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 P.M.
