Mussari of Brockton February 12, 2005 Carmella M. (Coviello) Mussari 90 years. Wife of the late George A. Mussari, Sr. Loving mother of Phillip Mussari and his wife Noreen and George A. Mussari, Jr. both of Brockton and Roseanne M. Perry and her husband Wayne of Mansfield. Loving grandmother of Joanne Cocco, Phillip and Patrick Mussari, Laura Mussari-Russell, Andrew, Thomas and Emily Perry. Great grandmother of Lindsey Thomas, Brian and John Cocco and Matthew Russell. Sister of Agnes DeLuca and Columbia Caratelli both of Medford, Josephine Fabbri of Stoneham and Cecelia Morello of Newton. Carmella’s family was her life.
Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church (formerly St. Edward) at 9 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Mussari died Saturday at home under the care of hospice after a period of failing health. She was the wife for 56 years of the late George A. Mussari, Sr. She was born in Bonito, Italy a daughter of the late Anthony and Rosario (DePietro) Coviello. At the age of 6 she came to the United States entering through Ellis Island. She was raised and educated in Woodland, Maine and graduated from Woodland High School in1933. For the past 67 years Mrs. Mussari had been a resident of Brockton.
Mrs. Mussari was primarily a homemaker who stayed home to raise her family. She had worked part time as a sales associate in several local stores. She was also a volunteer for Catholic Charities in the child care unit at the Phaneuf Center. She was a volunteer at St. Edward’s Church rectory.
Mrs. Mussari enjoyed line dancing, bowling, sewing, knitting and crocheting. She was a past member of the Brockton Council on Aging and had been a longtime communicant of St. Edward Church.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter Phillip Mussari and his wife Noreen and George A. Mussari, Jr. both of Brockton and Roseanne M. Perry and her husband Wayne of Mansfield. She was grandmother of 7 Joanne Cocco, Phillip and Patrick Mussari, Laura Mussari-Russell, Andrew, Thomas and Emily Perry and great grandmother of 4 Lindsey Thomas, Brian and John Cocco and Matthew Russell.
She is survived by four sisters Agnes DeLuca and Columbia Caratelli both of Medford, Josephine Fabbri of Stoneham and Cecelia Morello

She was the sister of the late Mary Anne Fabbri, Gerald and Anthony Coviello
