Eleanor L. Nearis, age 61 of Medford, died Thursday in the Boston Medical Center, East Newton St., Boston, after a brief illness. Born in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Gertrude (McKillop) Cassidy.
Eleanor was a lifelong Medford resident and worked as an Administrative Assistant, for Boston Medical Center, for over 19 years.
Eleanor is survived by her sons Andrew L. & Frank both of Medford. Her daughter-in-law Gabriela Nearis of Medford. Brothers Leonard P. Cassidy of Wisconsin and Frank R. Cassidy of Wakefield.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Monday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8. Interment will be private.
