Mary “Annell” Crum Livingston, 89, of Tifton passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015, at Southern Care Assisted Living in Tifton. Her funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Carpenter Road Church of God in Tifton with Rev. Eddie Shumate and Rev. Salone Green officiating. Mrs. Livingston will be laid to rest at Union Grove Church of God Cemetery in Eldorado. The family will receive friends Friday, April 24, 2015, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Mrs. Livingston will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Livingston’s sons, Mark Livingston and Stanley Livingston; her grandsons, Lance Lastinger, Duane Butler, Daniel Abernathy, Russell Abernathy, Monty Foskey, Ty Irvin, Blake Massey and Buddy Cawley; and her nephew, Curt Livingston will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Livingston was born May 22, 1925 in Tift County, the daughter of Mack Crum and Addie Lee Alexander Crum, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by three sons, Jessie Clyde Livingston, Jr., James Robert Livingston and Larry Dwight Livingston; a brother, Dewey Columbus Crum; and a sister, Bonnie Ruth Crum Pope. She was a homemaker and member of Carpenter Road Church of God in Tifton. She loved God, her family, flowers, fishing, gardening, sewing and she was the best cook in South Georgia. Her faithfulness was unending and she was loved by many.
Mrs. Livingston is survived by her husband of 73 years, Jessie Clyde “J. C.” Livingston of Tifton; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Stanley and Sandy Livingston of Enigma and Mark Livingston of Tifton; four daughters and a son-in-law, Ruby and Wayman Lastinger of Ty Ty, Wanda Livingston, Sharon Livingston and Starr Livingston, all of Tifton; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Lance and Sue Lastinger, Dawn and Monty Foskey, Faith and Buddy Cawley, Skye and Ty Irvin, Duane and Gena Butler, Cindy and David Bullington, Daniel Abernathy and Russell Abernathy; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
