New Bedford-Delores (DeMello) Mendonca died February 9, 2005 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the wife of Frank F. Mendonca Jr. of South Dartmouth. She was the mother of Frank F. Mendonca III, of Dartmouth, Wayne J. Mendonca of Dartmouth, Michael G. Mendonca, of Dartmouth, Lisa M. Reed, of Dartmouth, and Donna M. Alves of Dartmouth. She was the sister of Antone DeMello of Dartmouth. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 4 nephews.
Mrs. Mendonca was the daughter of the late Antone and Lena (Furtado) DeMello. She was a homemaker, and stitcher at local clothing factories until her retirement.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday February 12, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary’s Church South Dartmouth, MA. Visiting hours will be Friday February 12, 2005 from 6-9 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St.
