Antonia Caccaviello of Medford died Wednesday, April 22, in the Wingate at Reading. She was 100. Born in Luogosano, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Costantino and Giovanina (Venuti) Digregorio. Antonia moved to the US and settled in Medford, where she lived for the past 56 years.
She was the beloved wife of the late Rafael "Ralph" Caccaviello and the devoted mother of Lina Zappulla and her husband Joseph of Wakefield, Joanne Bottari of Medford, Frances Marino and her husband Frank of Reading. She is also survived by 10 loving grandchildren, 12 loving great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Sister of the late Raffaella Distasio, Ermelinda Tedoldi, and Italia Cataldo.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Monday, April 27 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday, April 26, from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
