Taunton - Cynthia A. Robinson, of Taunton, MA was called home on Monday, April 20th at Morton Memorial Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 66 years old.
Cindy was born on June 13, 1948 in Fall River, MA to the late Edward Souza and Evelyn Fournier. She spent her career in the insurance industry retiring as an executive underwriter that took her to Maryland, New Jersey and Georgia.
Cindy married the late William Robinson and had two children. Cindy loved spending her time with her family, doing word searches, going to the beach and enjoying wine nights with her friends.
Cindy leaves to cherish her loving memory to her children, William Robinson of Taunton, MA and Kelle Torchio of Greeley, CO and dear friend Rosemary Heath (George) of Taunton, MA. Her grandchildren, Kimberley Parker (Nathan), Anthony Torchio of Fort Collins, Co., Joshua Robinson of Taunton, MA, Matthew Robinson, of Taunton, MA and Stefanie Torchio of Greeley, Co., and her great-grandchildren Isaiah Torchio, Nathan Parker III and Tristan Parker. Also, her cousin Doreen Root (Lynwood), nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
A celebration of her life will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday April 29 from 5 – 7 P.M. Burial of her cremated remains will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery in New Bedford on Thursday April 30 at 10:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation P.O. Box 1848 Longmont, CO 80502.
