Mary L. Rugg Howell, 52, of Enigma passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at her residence. A memorial service will be held for Ms. Howell at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2015, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with Rev. Terrell Roberts officiating. Ms. Howell will be laid to rest at a later date. The family will receive friends Friday, April 24, 2015, from 12:30 p.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Ms. Howell was born August 26, 1962 in Pike County, Alabama, the daughter of Lynn Rugg and Cleone Kilpatrick Rugg of Irwin County. She graduated from Tift County High School and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Howell is survived by her fiancé, Jimmy Gray of Enigma; two sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Rose Rugg of Irwin County and Randall and Laressa Howell of Omega; one daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Joe Towles of Enigma; two sisters, Marie Vaughn of Alapaha and Patricia Rugg of Ty Ty; ten grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
