Joseph S. Durette, 53, of Manchester, passed away on April 18, 2015, after a period of declining health. He was predeceased by his parents George and Claire (Sweeney) Durette.
Joe was a lifelong resident of Manchester and a self employed, successful businessman. He devoted his life to helping others, especially those in need and down on their luck and was very generous.
His faith in God and his love and devotion to his family were very strong. He will be greatly missed.
Members of his family include his brother, Raymond Durette and his wife Francine; his sisters, Jacqueline Kling and her husband Bruce, Jeannine Flachbart and her husband Tom, and Constance Brigham and her husband David; his nephews, Nicholas, Peter and Thomas Brigham, Joshua Durette, Jeffrey and Brian Kling, Nathan and Brody Flachbart; his nieces, Emily Durette and Allison Brigham.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at St. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., Manchester. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Marie Parish, 133 Wayne St., Manchester, NH 03102 for Masses.
Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., was in charge of arrangements.
