Obituary


RAYNHAM – Pauline (DeMeule) Leonard, died at Life Care Center of Raynham on April 16, 2015.
She was 88.
Born in Hanson, she was the daughter of the late Eli and Adella (Babin) DeMeule.
Pauline was raised in Whitman and attended Whitman schools.
For many years she was employed as a waitress with the former Taunton Inn, the former Ann’s Place, and as a hostess at the former Riverside Restaurant.
Pauline enjoyed playing the organ, golf, bowling, and dancing.
Always a classy dresser, she experienced great joy in spending time with her family.
Her survivors include a brother, George Walcott of Bowie, MD; two sisters, Florence Bearse of ME and her best friend and sister, Louise Cunningham of Plympton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also sister of the late Ronald, Raymond, Wilfred and Louis DeMeule, Blanche Boucher and Cecile Larner.
Memorial Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Saturday, April 25th at 2 p.m.
A memorial gathering, to which relatives and friends are invited, will be held prior to the services, from 1 to 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, Village Plaza South, 473 South St. West Unit 13, Raynham, MA 02767.
