Obituary

Robert A. “Bobby” Hall, age 58, a lifelong resident of Winchester, passed away at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington, on April 19th, 2015, of complications following a stroke.

The son of the late John F. and Natalie (Larson) Hall, Mr. Hall was born and raised in Winchester, and was a graduate of Winchester High School.

He was the owner of Bob’s Appliance in Winchester for many years, where he was a fair businessman who was willing to help anybody in need. His customers will remember the many times he did not hesitate to help them. Bob’s daughter shared stories of his great personality and big heart, and how customers would often bring over gifts and meals that they had made for him.

In his spare time, Bobby loved to cook. The grandchildren, who lovingly referred to him as “Papa Bob”, loved going to Papa Bob’s house, especially for the large Sunday dinners he was known to prepare.

He leaves behind his eldest daughter Jennifer, her significant other, Michael, and their three children: Seamus, Kaileigh and Danielle; and his youngest daughter Kristina, her significant other David Hill, along with their two children Bryana and Emily. He was the dear brother of Richard F. and his wife Carol of Medford, David W. and his wife Lois of Winchester and the late John F. “Jackie” Hall, and the devoted uncle of Michael, Michelle, Thomas and James. Bobby is also survived by his dear friend Joanne O’Connor.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather at Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester, on Wed., April 22, from 9AM-12PM followed by a Funeral Service at Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester.

In lieu of flowers, a fund is being set up at Winchester Cooperative Bank for Bobby’s grandchildren.
